In this intimate chamber piece for voice and small ensemble, Djuro Zivkovic extensively uses improvising tech- nique as the composing process in search for the “free” composing. Similar to a sacred cantata in style, we find in this piece a personal, modest and simple artistic voice.

The lyrics are taken from Byzantine old mystical books and Zivkovic’s use of his ancient scales creates an archaic, echoing space.
